devathyme asked:
It should be something that not to stupid but not to smart, so not something that a scientist would do and not something a kindergardener could do. It has to be a good idea and a good thought, something that i could do a good test or project on. I want it to be something that has a good effect on teachers, something that makes the teachers think your at least a good student. It also can’t be a stupid thing that the teachers think is a bad exaple of a good thought of hard worked on project, so it would look like u finished it in one night! I need a good thought!!!

Genetic diseases or inherited diseases, it’s not difficult and you’ll convince your teacher that you are a good student
testing water. thats what i did.
i think you should make a thing that can hold a book over your head and turn the pages– i’d buy that =)
My son just did a project he got an A+ we found it at It is called Static Electricity in different materials. It was a funny and really not to difficult to do. There are other projects listed on that site or you can go to your home page and type in Science projects it will bring up all the different sites.
Good Luck and have fun
i cant remember if this is 6th grade or not but i say do a model of plant and animal cell or maybe something on space
maybe a project on the wonders of gas(hold the stinkiness).
bring a flowering potted plant to school and put a poster board behind it explaining photosynthesis (with a diagram too)
*the teacher will love it
when i wuz in 5th grade i did a chemistry project dat wuz more 4 a 6th grader!!! u can do a comparison of acids, basics, and neutrals (pH scale…)
get three types of fruit and make them each into slices then put a mist of water in a ziploc bag and put the fruit in there and try to hypothesize which one will mold the fastest and why you think that.(write down your hypothesis and observations and data) then see if you were correct it is fun i promise.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (throw the molded food away)
look up van de graaff generator. build one and touch it with two hands. your hair is gonna stick up. then while holding the sphere, get another person to touch fingertips. try it to find out!
for howstuffworks, go into the table of contents under, “Bulid your Own!”
build a model roller coaster, complete with lift motor. demonstrates conservation of energy.
well when i was in the 6th grade i did a project on which plant food will make the plants grow better but just get three cheap plants from like walmart and then measure it when you get home from the store and then put 1 different type of plant food in the three plants and measure them each day but of course you will have to water them ut that is what gave me an A when i was in the 6th grade.
